Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. • 3+ years experience functioning as Automation Engineer or DevOps Engineer. • 3+ years experience developing, delivering and operating modern cloud platforms / large-scale distributed systems. • 3 years Hands on experience with Cloud automation with Terraform or similar tools. • 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Helm and GitOps tools. • 2+ years of experience investigating the impact of cloud security engineering issues and incidents. • Automation background in multiple scripting languages. • Experience with Jenkins pipeline and Groovy scripting. • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and security best practices.
Responsibilities
• Implement and maintain infrastructure for development, testing, and production environments using cloud services like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc. • Automate deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient delivery of applications with minimal manual intervention. • Monitor system performance and health by setting up alerts and automated responses to potential issues in the infrastructure or application codebase. • Collaborate closely with development teams, providing technical guidance on best practices for coding standards, security protocols, and compliance requirements within DevOps methodologies like Agile/Scrum. • Manage database administration tasks including setting up databases, optimizing queries, ensuring data integrity, backups, and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested regularly. • Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure or application performance by analyzing logs, monitoring tools output, and system metrics when alerts occur. • Stay updated with the latest DevOps technologies and best practices through continuous learning and professional development courses/certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate (EC2), Microsoft Azure Solutions Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Developer Specialist.
