Sonar - Graduate Software Engineer (Java)

• Implement Features for the "Unified Remediation Engine". You will write the code that powers our remediation efforts. Working with Senior engineers, you will implement backend services (in Java and Python) that route requests and manage the flow between our deterministic fixers and new AI agents. • Develop Agent Logic. You will help turn research concepts into production code. You will implement specific "Self-Healing" workflows where the Agent reads CI/CD errors and attempts to fix its own code, learning how to make these loops robust and efficient. • Learn "Industrial-Grade" Engineering. You will move from university projects to real-world systems. You will learn how to deploy to AWS, instrument your code for observability (logging/metrics), and ensure your features can scale to handle massive loads. • Ensure Reliability & Quality. You will write comprehensive tests for your code. You will help the team maintain high acceptance rates by investigating why an AI fix failed and implementing improvements to the logic. • Collaborate & Grow. You will participate in design reviews and code reviews, learning from more senior engineers. You will absorb best practices in distributed systems, security, and clean architecture. • Strong CS Fundamentals. You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related field). You have a solid grasp of Algorithms, Data Structures, and Complexity Analysis. • Polyglot Potential (Java & Python). You are proficient in at least one major language (preferably Java or Python) and are eager to work in a hybrid environment. You care about code style, modularity, and writing clean, testable logic. • Curiosity for Systems. You understand the basics of how computers talk to each other (HTTP, API basics, Linux environment). You might not be an AWS expert yet, but you are eager to learn how to build distributed systems in the cloud. • Interest in AI/LLMs. You have a genuine interest in the AI space. You may have taken university courses on ML, experimented with OpenAI APIs in hackathons, or written a thesis involving NLP. You are excited to apply this to real-world engineering problems. • Analytical Mindset. You are not satisfied with "it works on my machine."
