Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. • At least six years of professional experience in technical program management. • At least two years of professional experience in conceptualizing and executing large-scale Platform initiatives. • Established expertise in managing large, distributed programs and delivering complex technical initiatives. • Deep understanding of modern software development practices, including Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD (Azure preferred). • Exceptional strategic thinking skills with the ability to link technical strategies to business outcomes. • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration, innovation, and a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
• Define and drive program vision and strategy across engineering departments to support organizational goals such as large-scale, cross-team platform programs spanning load, regression, and performance testing, DevOps maturity, and infrastructure reliability. • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. • Build and run cross-functional efforts through talent development, mentoring, and fostering collaboration. • Champion innovation by integrating emerging practices and spearheading experimentation in program management, leveraging AI and other new technologies. • Advocate for customer-centric approaches to deliver solutions that exceed expectations. • Set the tone for operational excellence by promoting best practices, metrics, and continuous improvement mechanisms. • Other duties/responsibilities as necessary. • Strategic Leadership and Alignment: Align program goals with departmental and organizational objectives, defining objective success criteria and constraints. Influence technical and product direction for the department through thought leadership and cross functional collaboration. • Execution and Results: Actively track progress of large, complex projects, providing clear communication to stakeholders. Deliver programs on time and within scope, managing changes to scope, schedule, cost, and outcomes. • Operational Excellence: Decompose complex, ambiguous solution architectures into orchestrated services and components in collaboration with senior engineering leaders. Champion retirement of technical debt, incorporating KTLO and engineering excellence activities into departmental plans while balancing them with primary initiatives. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other product and engineering teams to manage dependencies and ensure alignment. Build consensus amid discordant views and drive informed decisions through stakeholder engagement. • Customer-Centric Focus: Maintain a relentless focus on customer needs, translating feedback into actionable program roadmaps that exceed expectations. • Crisis and Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks and issues impacting program success. • Manage emergent incidents by engaging teams, escalating effectively, and ensuring rapid resolution.
