Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of wagey.gg ("Service", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, uploading a CV, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and wagey.gg.

2. Description of Service

wagey.gg is an automated job discovery and application platform. The Service:

  • Aggregates job listings from publicly available sources
  • Matches jobs to your uploaded CV and preferences using AI
  • Optionally submits applications on your behalf to employer application tracking systems
  • Provides tools to review, track, and manage your job applications

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. User Content

4.1 Your CV and Personal Data

You retain ownership of all content you upload, including CVs, personal information, and preferences. By uploading content to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, store, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

4.2 Application Submissions

When you authorize the Service to submit applications on your behalf, you represent that the information contained in your CV and application responses is truthful and accurate. You acknowledge that applications submitted through the Service are submitted in your name and you are solely responsible for their content.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service for competing purposes
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or restrictions
  • Share your account credentials with third parties
  • Use the Service to spam employers or submit applications to jobs you have no genuine interest in

6. Fair Use and Resource Limits

6.1 Shared Resources

The Service relies on shared computational resources, including but not limited to AI processing capacity, third-party API quotas, and infrastructure bandwidth. You acknowledge that your use of the Service directly affects its availability, performance, and quality for all other users.

6.2 Fair Use Policy

You agree to use the Service in a fair and reasonable manner consistent with its intended purpose of genuine job seeking. We reserve the right, in our absolute sole discretion, to determine what constitutes excessive, unreasonable, or abusive use. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the following may be considered violations of this Fair Use Policy:

  • Submitting a volume of applications that is disproportionate to genuine job-seeking activity
  • Applying to positions for which you are clearly unqualified or have no genuine intent to accept
  • Using the Service in a manner that consumes a disproportionate share of system resources relative to other users on the same subscription tier
  • Patterns of use that degrade the quality of service for other users or damage the reputation of the platform with employers
  • Automating, scripting, or programmatically interacting with the Service beyond its intended user interface
  • Using the Service on behalf of third parties, or operating it as a service bureau for others

6.3 Enforcement

If we determine, in our absolute sole discretion, that your usage violates or is likely to violate this Fair Use Policy, we may take any or all of the following actions without prior notice: (a) throttle or restrict your access to specific features; (b) impose temporary or permanent usage limits on your account; (c) suspend your account pending review; or (d) immediately terminate your account and access to the Service.

6.4 No Refund for Abuse

IN THE EVENT THAT YOUR ACCOUNT IS SUSPENDED OR TERMINATED DUE TO A VIOLATION OF THIS FAIR USE POLICY, VIOLATION OF THE ACCEPTABLE USE TERMS IN SECTION 5, OR ANY CONDUCT THAT WE DETERMINE IN OUR ABSOLUTE SOLE DISCRETION TO BE DETRIMENTAL TO THE SERVICE, ITS USERS, OR ITS RELATIONSHIPS WITH THIRD-PARTY EMPLOYERS, YOU SHALL NOT BE ENTITLED TO ANY REFUND, CREDIT, OR COMPENSATION OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING FOR ANY UNUSED PORTION OF A PREPAID SUBSCRIPTION PERIOD.

6.5 Usage Limits

We reserve the right to establish, modify, and enforce usage limits at any time, including but not limited to limits on the number of applications submitted, CV uploads, AI processing requests, and API calls. Such limits may vary by subscription tier and may be changed without notice. Current usage limits, if any, are published on the Service and are incorporated by reference into these Terms.

7. Subscription Plans and Payment

6.1 Free Tier

The free tier provides limited access to the Service. Usage limits on the free tier may change at any time at our sole discretion.

6.2 Paid Plans

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as expressly stated in our refund policy. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes take effect immediately for new subscriptions and at the start of the next billing cycle for existing subscribers.

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of a billing period.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, branding, and documentation, is the exclusive property of wagey.gg and is protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.

9. Job Data and Content Licensing

9.1 Source Job Listings

The Service aggregates job listings from publicly available sources, including employer career pages and application tracking systems. The original text of each job description remains the property of the respective employer or publisher. We do not claim ownership of third-party job description text.

9.2 Our Structured Data and Extractions

The structured data, metadata, classifications, taxonomy labels, skill extractions, salary normalisations, location mapping, seniority analysis, and any other information derived or computed by our systems from job listing content (collectively, "Derived Data") is the exclusive intellectual property of wagey.gg. This Derived Data represents substantial original effort in collection, curation, extraction, and enrichment.

9.3 Permitted Use

You may use job data displayed through the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial job-seeking purposes. This includes viewing job listings, reviewing match results, and using the information to inform your own job applications.

9.4 Prohibited Use of Data

You expressly agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, spider, or otherwise systematically extract data from the Service by any automated means
  • Copy, reproduce, redistribute, or republish job listings, Derived Data, or any other content from the Service
  • Use data from the Service to build, train, or enhance a competing product, service, database, or AI/ML model
  • Aggregate data from the Service with data from other sources for commercial purposes
  • Sell, license, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit any data obtained from the Service
  • Use any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering or extraction methods on the Service
  • Access the Service through any automated means (including bots, scrapers, or browser extensions) except through interfaces expressly provided by us

9.5 Database Rights

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the collection, selection, coordination, arrangement, and presentation of job data on the Service constitutes a database in which wagey.gg holds database rights and copyright in the compilation. Unauthorised extraction or re-utilisation of a substantial part of the contents of this database is prohibited.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • Job listings are accurate, current, or complete
  • Applications submitted through the Service will be received or reviewed by employers
  • Use of the Service will result in job offers or employment
  • AI-generated matches, recommendations, or CV modifications will be accurate or appropriate

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WAGEY.GG AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Any applications submitted or not submitted through the Service
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any third-party conduct or content on or related to the Service
  • Any employment decisions made by third-party employers

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless wagey.gg and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

13.1 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, at our absolute sole discretion. Without limiting the foregoing, we may immediately terminate or suspend your account if we determine, in our sole judgement, that you have violated these Terms, the Fair Use Policy in Section 6, or have otherwise engaged in conduct that is harmful to the Service, its users, or third parties.

13.2 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. All licenses granted to you under these Terms terminate. We may delete your data after termination, though we are not obligated to do so on any particular timeline. You may request deletion of your data by contacting [email protected].

13.3 No Refund on Termination

Where your account is terminated by us for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these Terms, the Acceptable Use terms in Section 5, or the Fair Use Policy in Section 6, no refund, credit, or compensation of any kind shall be due to you. This applies regardless of any unused subscription time remaining. The provisions of Sections 6.4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and this Section 13.3 shall survive termination of your account and these Terms.

14. Third-Party Services

The Service interacts with third-party employer websites and application tracking systems. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of such services is subject to their own terms and policies.

15. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which wagey.gg operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and wagey.gg regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
