Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience • Approximately 5 years of professional experience in Backend development with Java • Strong expertise in Java and backend frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, RESTful APIs) • Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and microservices architecture • Proven experience integrating payment gateways or third-party payment APIs is highly desirable • Knowledge of payment industry standards, security protocols, and compliance requirements • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively • Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for global payment Card products using Java • Lead integration efforts with payment channel partners and third-party payment platforms • Build robust, scalable, and secure backend systems to support high-volume payment transactions • Explore and implement Web3 and AI technologies to enhance payment processing and security • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and ensure best practices in software development • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, security, and operations to deliver end-to-end solutions • Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability in a production environment
