Requirements
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Lead or Senior C# and .NET software development role. • Data Engineering: Proficiency in handling large-scale datasets using appropriate languages, frameworks, tools, work flows and patterns. • Data Engineering: • Project Leadership: Proven track record of designing, refining, managing, leading, and delivering at least three complex technical projects from inception to completion. • Project Leadership: • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex data challenges and significantly improve data handling processes. • Problem-Solving: • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, provide project updates and technical insights on complex projects. • Communication: • Time Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills. Comfortable prioritizing work across multiple concurrent projects. • Time Management: • Leadership: Experience mentoring intermediate engineers and leading on complex technical projects. • Leadership: • System Design: Expertise in scalable system design and architecture. • System Design: • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a fully remote team and awareness of how your behaviour impacts those around you. • Collaboration: • Continuous Learning: Commitment to continuous learning and growth. • Continuous Learning: • Location: Must be based in the United Kingdom. • Location: • A degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Data Engineering or a related field. • Experience using React. • Experience with AWS. • Machine learning and AI experience. • Startup or Scaleup experience. • AI platforms and APIs
Responsibilities
• Ownership of the full software development life cycle. • Work with cloud base architecture focusing on scalability and performance. • Data engineering and integration: Manage and wrangle a database with over one billion records, ensuring efficient data handling and aggregation. • Address data challenges by implementing robust data engineering practices. • Project management. • Code quality reviews and team collaboration. • Adopt a customer-first approach: Maintain a strong focus on customer needs and be relentless about delivering value.
