Responsibilities
• Define technical strategy for enterprise-level data platform leadership across global customer base. • Architect complex multi-cloud systems to enhance reliability and scalability of data services. • Drive initiatives that improve cost efficiency in managing the company's vast amount of information assets, including databases, content management platforms (CMS), document repositories, email archives, etc., across AWS and Azure cloud infrastructures. • Operate at the intersection of architecture, execution, and mentorship within data platform roles to set standards for technical excellence in database engineering practices. • Tackle ambiguous problems related to databases by providing innovative solutions that align with business needs while maintaining a hands-on approach throughout all stages of problem resolution. • Serve as the primary technical authority on decisions regarding our data platform, ensuring alignment between technology and company objectives across various departments within NetDocuments. • Partner directly with leadership to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical roadmaps that guide infrastructure evolution in AWS and Azure environments.
