Flock Safety - Senior Network Engineer

• 8+ years with embedded Linux networking, including routing, firewalling, DNS, and DHCP • Experience deploying devices into customer-managed networks with varying security and topology constraints • Hands-on experience defining, operating, and troubleshooting routing and firewall rules • Practical knowledge of VPNs and network segmentation, including VLANs • Experience designing or operating edge-to-cloud connectivity models, such as outbound tunnels, reverse proxies, or VPN-based access • Experience with automation or scripting for provisioning and diagnostics • Strong network troubleshooting and diagnostics skills • Experience managing Layer 3 networking infrastructure, including ACLs and VLANs • Experience working with Android-based devices • Knowledge of wireless networking, including modern Wi-Fi standards • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container platforms • Background with real-time or streaming network protocols • Experience with modern VPN or mesh networking solutions • Experience supporting large fleets of remotely deployed devices • Feeling uneasy that you haven’t ticked every box?
