RYZ Labs - Staff Fullstack Engineer

• What You’ll Be Working On • Building and evolving backend services that power internal clinical workflows • Developing features across web (React) and mobile (React Native) applications • Designing systems that integrate with existing healthcare and EHR platforms • Improving performance, reliability, and maintainability of core services • Using AI tools to accelerate development and reduce manual overhead • Reviewing code, reducing technical debt, and setting a high bar for code quality • Monitoring support tickets to fix bugs and proactively improve the product • 6+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer • Strong backend experience with Node.js or Python • 3+ years experience with React, Typescript, Python, Postgres, or are confident and excited about cross-training and up-skilling! • Experience working in startup or small-team environments • Strong understanding of modern web architecture and distributed systems • Proven experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.) in daily development workflows • Ability to reason about AI/LLM limitations (hallucinations, latency, cost, security/privacy) and design around them • High standards for code quality, performance, and maintainability • Collaborative mindset with a strong focus on execution and ownership
