Requirements
• BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or other related engineering field • 3+ years of industry experience designing & building fullstack software applications • Experience with our stack: • Expert in React, Redux, JS/Typescript • Intermediate+ Python and/or Go skills • Experience building features & components from scratch and operating them, balancing feature development work with operational tasks • Open to following pre-established guidelines, coding practices, and conventions • Experience working with distributed teams, proficient in asynchronous and written communication • You’re growth-driven & looking to increase impact & responsibility over time • You’re able to leverage AI Developer tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Cursor in your daily workflow • Familiarity with our stack: AWS, K8s, Django, Postgres/MySQL, Prometheus • Familiarity with AWS services and deployment practices. • Experience working with LLM-powered tools and AI assistants • Knowledge of containerization • Experience with distributed systems • Actual compensation will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities
• Design and execute software projects that are crucial to Abnormal’s success, in collaboration with a team of engineers, through conception, design, implementation, launch, and operation • Provide guidance and mentorship for junior members of the team • Collaborate with Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, and GTM teams to implement, verify, and iterate on issues and requests from our customers • Raise the standard of excellence in engineering by actively sharing knowledge within the team and engaging in professional development activities • Hit the ground running by contributing to the team's work within the first two weeks
