Software Engineer, Backend Engineer

• 2+ years of experience building and operating performant, non-trivial backend systems in production. • Expertise or strong interest in the following areas: web performance optimization (including ORM and DB profiling), deploying and scaling web applications using cloud services, application security • High enthusiasm for supporting both rapid proof-of-concept prototypes as well as robust, mission critical components for both internal and external stakeholders. • Comfortable with ambiguity, strong user-first mindset, and ability to come up with non-regrettable technical solutions. • Flexibility and dedication to work in a team and ship exceptional software. • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. • Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging are fundamental to our success.
