• Essential Attributes: • Leadership Track Record: Proven experience as a Tech Lead, with at least 2 years in a formal or informal leadership/management capacity. • Leadership Track Record: • Frontend Mastery: In-depth knowledge of React and extensive experience building type-safe applications with TypeScript. • Frontend Mastery: • Full-Stack Mindset: Skilled in architecting large-scale, multi-tier web applications with a focus on high availability, scalability, and performance. • Full-Stack Mindset: • Communication & Influence: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex technical "Darwin" roadmaps into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders. • Communication & Influence: • Problem Solver: A strong customer-service orientation; you view the operations team as your primary customers and take pride in unblocking them. • Problem Solver: • Technical Proficiencies: • Modern Web Stack: Expert-level command of TypeScript, JavaScript. • Modern Web Stack: • Data & Backend: Extensive background working with SQL technologies (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and designing RESTful web services. • Data & Backend: • Cloud Architecture: Prior experience with cloud-based environments, specifically AWS, and a solid understanding of CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code. • Cloud Architecture: • Computer Science Fundamentals: Strong grasp of data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis to ensure Darwin remains performant as it scales. • Computer Science Fundamentals: • Linguistic Agility: Advanced English skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly to global teams across different time zones. • Linguistic Agility: • Desirable (The "Plus" Factors): • Micro-Frontend Expert: Specific experience split-testing or architecting micro-frontend environments to manage complex architecture. • Micro-Frontend Expert: • Distributed Systems: Understanding of message brokering (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) and asynchronous processing for background operational tasks. • Distributed Systems: • Architectural Patterns: Deep understanding of BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) patterns, Object-Oriented Design, and functional programming paradigms. • Architectural Patterns: • Agile Advocate: Natural comfort leading in an Agile/Scrum environment, prioritizing iteration and rapid feedback loops. • Agile Advocate: • We recognize that individuals approach job applications differently.
