Requirements
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related field. • Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, digital/analog electronics, and signal processing. • Familiarity with PCB design and schematic capture tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD). • Hands-on experience with electronics lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment. • Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, or IoT devices is a plus. • Experience with soldering, PCB rework, or hardware prototyping is a plus. • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to get hands-on with hardware. • Feeling uneasy that you haven’t ticked every box? Responsibilities
• To perform various electrical engineering tasks as assigned by the supervisor. • Assist in designing and testing safety equipment for vehicles to ensure compliance with regulations. • Collaborate with a team of engineers on projects related to automotive safety technology. • Attend meetings, training sessions, and workshops relevant to electrical engineering within the field of vehicle safety. • Participate in research activities aimed at improving Flock Safety's products or processes. • Contribute ideas for innovation and improvements on existing projects under guidance from senior engineers. • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to engineering tasks performed during the internship period. • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholds within Flock Safety regarding project progress and outcomes.
