Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree – Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering from a four-year university
- Minimum of four years of experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer, or similar role
- Minimum of six years of experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer, or similar role (Sr)
- Root cause expertise using systematic methodologies (5-Whys, Fishbone, 8D) to resolve complex equipment failures and prevent recurrence.
- Proven experience maintaining and optimizing high-speed automated systems, including PLC logic, robotics (6-axis/SCARA), and vision systems.
- Data-driven mindset using statistical process control and sensor data to predict failures and maximize uptime.
- Validation expertise in executing IQ/OQ/PQ and driving FAT/SAT to ensure equipment meets precision and safety specs.
- Maintenance strategy skills for developing preventative and predictive programs that don't bottleneck production.

Responsibilities
- Lead vendors through the physical installation and mechanical commissioning of new equipment, ensuring all custom tooling and actuators meet design specs.
- Act as the detective for mechanical failures, using data to identify why parts are wearing out or breaking and implementing permanent design fixes.
- Build / modify maintenance playbooks to prevent unplanned downtime.
- Continuously redesign and harden machine components (custom tooling, brackets, linkages) to extend the time between mechanical failures.
- Develop and iterate on custom mechanical solutions and jigs to improve process stability and material handling as the machine scales.
- Own and continuously improve equipment uptime
