Requirements
• Proven experience leading technical teams in a fast-paced environment • Strong software engineering skills with experience in distributed systems and backend development, ideally in Go • Solid understanding of Kubernetes internals or cloud-native infrastructure • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) • Strong grasp of database systems and architecture; experience with time-series databases is a plus • CI/CD and DevOps practices experience • Clear communicator with strong written and verbal English skills • Collaborative and action-oriented leadership style.
Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams • Actively contribute to the codebase – building and maintaining the high-scale data ingestion and time-series reporting infrastructure • Drive team execution by aligning delivery with business and product goals • Partner with Product Owners and Tech Leads to shape scope and roadmap • Ensure robustness, scalability, and security in all deliverables • Foster a culture of learning, ownership, and technical excellence • Actively contribute to hiring, onboarding, and team-building efforts • Be a role model and champion of Cast AI’s values and engineering culture • Participate in the incident response process as needed.
