Requirements

5+ years in QA engineering, with 2+ years working on SaaS/API products.
Good knowledge of Web3 fundamentals: blockchain concepts, EVM chains, web3 nodes, wallets, and smart contracts.
Proven experience in API testing and automation frameworks.
Proficient in writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Experience in CI/CD environments with Git-based workflows
General understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong understanding of QA methodologies
JavaScript/TypeScript
API Testing - Rest, Websockets,
Automation Frameworks - Playwright, CodeceptJS
CI/CD - Git-based Workflows - Github Actions
Ticketing Systems - Jira
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana) for monitoring performance and stability.
Previous experience in Web3, De-Fi, Blockchain and/or Cryptocurrency

Responsibilities

To perform various testing tasks to ensure the quality of software products and services as per company standards.
Conduct test cases based on user stories/requirements provided during sprint planning meetings.
Identify defects in code by using automated tools, manual techniques or both; document these findings for developers' review.
Collaborate with the development team to understand and reproduce issues reported from users’ end.
Participate actively in daily standup/scrum meetings as a representative of QA department. ✅
To maintain test environments, including setting up servers or databases required for testing purposes; ensure they are stable before starting any tests. ✅
Monitor and report on the progress of automated regression tests to track software stability over time. ✅
Provide feedback during sprint retrospectives about potential improvements in our QA processes, tools, techniques or test cases based on personal experience. ✅
To stay updated with latest testing trends/tools and continuously improve one's skills through training programs offered by the company; share knowledge gained within team meetings to enhance overall quality assurance practices of the organization. ✅
Attend regular trainings or workshops on new technologies, tools & techniques relevant for QA role in order to keep up with industry standards and best practices as per job requirements. ✅
To maintain a professional demeanor at all times during interactions within team meetings; communicate effectively using clear language without jargon when discussing testing issues or concerns that may arise from the development side of things, ensuring mutual understanding between both teams for better collaboration and problem resolution. ✅
Participate in code reviews as a representative of QA department to provide feedback on potential bugs/defects found during manual test execution; suggest improvements based on personal experience with similar issues encountered before while working at other organizations or projects within the industry sector related closely enough for contextual relevance here. ✅
To ensure compliance with company policies regarding data privacy and security by following best practices when handling sensitive information obtained from testing activities such as user credentials, payment details etc.; report any potential breaches immediately to management without delay while maintaining confidentiality until further investigation has been conducted internally within HR department itself after consultation between QA Engineer & IT Security team members regarding appropriate course of action taken against perpetrators found guilty based on evidence collected during initial investigations done by internal security personnel working closely alongside them throughout this process till final resolution reached upon which could include termination/legal actions depending entirely up-to-date laws applicable within UAE jurisdiction where company operates its business activities currently located here along side London branch offices worldwide across multiple continents globally including Europe itself too if needed later down line should things get worse than expected beforehand already anticipated initially planned
