Requirements

• This is a list of desirable skills, but even if you don’t tick all the boxes please still apply! • 1-3 years of hands on platform experience • Knowledge of Cloud tools and services (AWS is our primary cloud) • Understanding of DevOps and operational workflows • Building and maintaining cloud services through IaC (we use Terraform) • CI/CD practices and tooling • We’ll be lucky if you: • Have experience with security products and tooling, and some DevSecOps experience • Have been on call for incident response • Deep experience with data platforms (databases, queues, caches, storage etc.) • What we can offer you:

Responsibilities

• The work we do in platform is broad and deep, but in a normal week you’ll be involved in: • Operational work to keep our systems running smoothly. Respond to issues and perform maintenance and upgrades to our systems • Keeping our CI/CD system running well and ensuring safe and simple deployments for our engineers • Build our platform to support product needs (i.e. provisioning databases, enhancing tooling, scaling) • Operating our cloud environments (mostly AWS) through IaC and automation • Supporting, and sometimes leading, projects of improvement to our platform • Working collaboratively with other engineers and the wider business
