Requirements

Responsibilities
• Building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for cloud-based, distributed systems and microservices architectures • Designing and implementing automated tests using Java-based frameworks (e.g. JUnit, TestNG) • Testing microservices, APIs and backend services using tools such as RestAssured or Karate • Working closely with engineers developing cloud-native and on-prem applications (e.g. Java / Spring Boot microservices) • Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery in cloud environments • Identifying gaps in current testing approaches and suggesting improvements • Supporting end-to-end and cross-system testing across web, backend and data layers • Contributing to best practices in automation, test design and quality engineering • Promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement across teams

• Hi, I’m Priyanka Mondal, QA Discipline Lead at Hawk-Eye Innovations. • We’re looking for a Java Test Automation Engineer to join our QA team, focusing on building and evolving scalable automation frameworks across cloud-based systems, microservices and APIs. • This role sits within a modern, distributed environment, where quality, reliability and scalability are critical. You’ll be working closely with engineers and product teams to design and implement robust automation solutions that integrate seamlessly into the development lifecycle. • You’ll start by contributing to and improving existing automation frameworks, with a focus on backend and API testing.
