Professional Experience: 10+ years of leadership experience in clearing/settlement within a Traditional Bank, Tier-1 FinTech, or Global Fund.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of financial derivative structures and the mechanics of high-frequency trading (HFT) environments.
Web3 Aptitude: Deep curiosity or existing expertise in blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and the nuances of digital asset custody.
Professional Credentials: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent (ACCA/CIMA) is mandatory.
Data Certifications: International certifications in Data Analysis (e.g., CDMP, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, or similar).
AI Awareness: Proven mindset for automation; ability to use AI tools (or collaborate with devs to build them) to streamline data verification and reporting.
Languages: Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Settlement Leadership: Oversee daily clearing and settlement for spot and derivative products (Futures, Options, Perpetual Swaps) across 700+ tokens.
System Architecture: Design and optimize multi-currency automated reconciliation workflows to handle high-frequency transaction data.
Digital Asset Accounting: Manage complex on-chain and off-chain asset reconciliation, ensuring sub-ledger consistency with hot/cold wallet balances.
AI Implementation: Identify and deploy AI-driven solutions to eliminate manual errors and boost operational precision.
Risk Management: Monitor and mitigate settlement risks, including counterparty risk and liquidity constraints during high-volatility market events.
Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with global audit firms, regulators, and internal engineering teams in a bilingual environment.
