Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field • 5+ years of experience in developing Internet applications, large financial systems, or e-commerce platforms • Proficient in coding or scripting languages(Java/Kotlin/C++/Python, etc.) • Deep familiarity with the standard library, idiomatic usage, and best practices of your primary programming languages. • Ecosystem Experience: Direct experience building or maintaining a public-facing developer platform, app marketplace, or extension framework. • Architectural Patterns: Deep expertise in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to manage complex business logic and microservice boundaries. • Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with cloud-native tech stacks, including Docker, Kubernetes, and advanced observability tools. • Emerging Tech: Experience integrating AI/LLM models to automate integration workflows or enhance developer tooling. • Applicant Safety Policy: Fraud and Third-Party Recruiters • To protect you from recruitment scams, please be aware that Airwallex will not ask for bank details, sensitive ID numbers (i.e. passport), or any form of payment during the application or interview process. Responsibilities
• Platform Architecture & Strategy: Lead the high-level design and long-term technical roadmap for the App Marketplace or Extension Framework. • Extensibility Frameworks: Design and implement the core SDKs, webhooks, and UI-extension patterns that allow third-party developers to embed their functionality directly into the Airwallex platform. • Technical Excellence: Establish and enforce rigorous internal coding standards, observability patterns, and security protocols for the entire team. • Developer Experience (DX): Champion the needs of external developers by building world-class documentation infrastructure, sandboxes, and tooling.
