DevOps Engineer - TENTENS Tech

• At least two years of direct experience in the role of DevOps Engineer. Preferred with prior experience using platforms like GCP, AWS, or bare metal infrastructure. • Deep knowledge and practical skills in Linux system administration including shell scripting (troubleshooting), managing a microservices stack on Kubernetes, working with Docker/containerd, Helm, service mesh technologies such as Istio and Envoy, GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux. • Experience using Infrastructure as Code practices with Pulumi, Terraform, or similar modern infrastructure management tools is required. Familiarity with writing code to manage infrastructure configurations effectively. • Solid experience in monitoring system metrics and observability stacks such as Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Loki, etc., including setting up alerting mechanisms for anomalies or issues detected by these tools is required. Experience working with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) preferred but not mandatory due to the use of alternative stacks mentioned in the job posting. • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery or deployment at scale across different environments is required. Experience with Jenkins, GitLab Runner, Spinnaker, etc., are welcome as they can be integrated into our pipeline toolchain (CircleCI). • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in various stages of the software development lifecycle from local testing through production deployment using modern tools like Docker/Kubernetes. Experience with container orchestration systems such as K3S, Rancher Desired State Configuration preferred but not mandatory due to our use of Helm for package management on Kubernetes and Terraform in IaC practices mentioned above. • Familiarity with frontend technologies like React or Angular is required along with experience building modern web applications using these frameworks as they are part of the product lineup we develop (e.g., social discovery platforms). Experience working directly within a team that uses Tailwind CSS and NextJS preferred but not mandatory due to our use of alternative stacks mentioned in the job posting. • Knowledge or experience with modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, Vue is required along with familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux (preferred) for building complex web applications using these technologies and managing application states effectively across different environments.
