Spotify - Backend Engineer, Security

• You are an experienced software engineer with development experience in an object-oriented programming language such as Java, and you are comfortable with data engineering • You have experience writing distributed, high-volume services and know how to deploy and operate them in production • You have a deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms • You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high quality code • You have hands-on experience implementing security controls and safeguards in software systems, working within cybersecurity and security GRC frameworks • You love working in an environment where you frequently discuss technical requirements and iterate quickly • You are passionate about information security governance, risk and complianceYou have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including extensive experience meeting and presenting to senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders • Where You'll Be • This role is based in London or Stockholm • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best!
