Responsibilities
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions to meet business needs within the LATAM region while working remotely as a full-time member of our Tech Team. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT operations, security, network administration, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless integration of new systems or upgrades into existing infrastructure without disrupting business continuity. • Monitor the performance and health of critical infrastructure components using established monitoring tools and practices; proactively identify potential issues before they impact operations by analyzing system metrics, logs, and alerts to maintain optimal uptime for our services in LATAM region. • Develop scalable architectures that can handle increasing loads while ensuring high availability of applications and databases across the company's global footprint; implement best practices such as load balancing, failover mechanisms, redundancy strategies, disaster recovery plans to mitigate risks associated with system outages or data loss. • Conduct regular security assessments on infrastructure components including network devices (routers/switches), firewalls, servers; identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate countermeasures based upon industry standards such as CIS benchmarks for compliance purposes within LATAM region's regulatory environment where applicable laws may differ from other regions. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing infrastructure performance data regularly with senior management or relevant stakeholders; propose enhancements based on findings such as optimizing resource allocation, reducing costs without compromising service quality across LATAM region's diverse markets where applicable laws may differ from other regions. • Document all changes made to the existing infrastructure including network diagrams and configurations using industry standard documentation practices while ensuring proper version control mechanisms are in place; maintain detailed records of system upgrades or modifications for audit purposes within LATAM region's regulatory environment where applicable laws may differ from other regions. • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders including IT operations, security teams and business partners across different time zones while working remotely as a full-time member of our Tech Team; provide timely updates on infrastructure status or issues encountered during routine maintenance activities within LATAM region's diverse markets where applicable laws may differ from other regions. • Attend regular meetings with cross-functional teams including IT operations, security and network administration to discuss current projects related to the design/implementation of new systems; review progress reports on infrastructure upgrades or modifications made by team members within LATAM region's diverse markets where applicable laws may differ from other regions. • Participate in training sessions for emerging technologies such as cloud computing, virtualization and automation tools that can improve efficiency of existing systems while working remotely as a full-time
