GitLab - Engineering Manager, AI Engineering:Agent Foundations

• 3+ years managing high-performing engineering teams. • Strong technical background in software development. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities. • Hands-on experience with agentic AI in software development, and a genuine excitement for where AI is taking the craft. • Experience with high paced environments, ambiguous requirements and shipping continuously. • A passion for coaching and developing engineers, with a focus on a positive and inclusive team environment. • Experience with building and deploying AI products. • Familiarity with observability systems and reliability engineering. • Strong experience in Python, Ruby, Go and / or TypeScript. • The Agent Execution team is part of the Agent Foundations group. The team is distributed across three continents but unified by the desire to shape the future of software engineering. We’re hard at work creating a product and the infrastructure that changes development processes, building the software engineering  tools of tomorrow. We’re partnering with teams both within the AI space as well as all over GitLab to ensure that the Duo Agent Platform can become the backbone of many AI features at GitLab.
