Requirements

• Prior experience in crypto-native treasury, FX hedging, or DeFi asset management. • A relevant professional qualification (ACT or equivalent) is desirable • Improbable Candidate Privacy Policy

Responsibilities

• Lay the foundation for Improbable’s treasury function by developing core policies, controls, and an operating framework that ensures strong governance across fiat and digital assets • Oversee liquidity and uphold runway targets through effective forecasting across Improbable and its ventures, ensuring coverage for both operational and strategic needs • Lead investment and capital allocation, optimising surplus fiat and digital asset deployment, assessing options and informing treasury-driven planning and decision-making • Provide oversight of digital asset positions and maintain exposure and risk in line with strategy • Manage USD/GBP exposure and design appropriate hedging strategies • Develop and execute crypto risk-management and hedging approaches for relevant digital assets • Own relationships with banks, custodians, and digital asset providers, and lead the selection and implementation of treasury tools that improve visibility and automation • Produce timely treasury reporting for senior leadership, including liquidity positions, exposures, counterparty risk, and investment performance • Contribute to broader financial strategy and operational excellence
