Senior Software & Data Engineer, JavaScript

With the ones that are open about their shortcomings and what they do not know now, but remain eager to keep on growing and closing those gaps. • Ideally, they would also have: • Node.js & TypeScript Mastery (Must Have): 5+ years of professional experience building backend systems with Node.js and TypeScript. You should be comfortable with asynchronous programming, event loops, and strict type safety. • Node.js & TypeScript Mastery (Must Have): • 5+ years • Database Skills: A deep understanding of database design, complex SQL querying, and data modeling with stores like PostgreSQL and Redis. • Redis • AI & ML Exposure: Experience with Machine Learning workflows. You don't need to be a data scientist, but you should understand the ML lifecycle (training vs. inference), feature engineering, and how to integrate models into backend services. • AI & ML Exposure: • ML lifecycle • Performance Optimization: Experience monitoring and optimizing backend application performance, query latency, and pipeline efficiency. • Performance Optimization: • Architectural Knowledge: Strong understanding of Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, or Distributed Systems. • Architectural Knowledge: • Data Engineering Experience (Nice to Have): Proven expertise in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, and managing data transformations with DBT. • Data Engineering Experience (Nice to Have): • This position is 100% remote.
