Requirements
• Recent hands-on experience shipping product design work • Exceptional UX and visual design sense • Experience owning end-to-end design, including design systems • Strategic approach to design direction, not just execution • Ability to connect design decisions to user and business outcomes • Experience using AI tools in your design workflow and prototyping • Experience providing direction, context, and feedback to designers without micromanaging • A collaborative, low-ego working style
Responsibilities
• Overseeing product design processes to ensure alignment with company goals and customer needs. • Leading cross-functional teams in ideation sessions for new products or features. • Collaborating closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and other departments as needed. • Managing the Product Design team's workflow from conceptualization to prototyping stages. • Reviewing design deliverables regularly to ensure quality standards are met. • Participating in strategic planning sessions for product development roadmaps. • Providing leadership and mentorship opportunities within their direct reports or teams they manage. • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows as a spokesperson for design initiatives. • Stay abreast of emerging trends in technology to inform product development strategies. • Facilitate communication between different departments when necessary to ensure cohesive workflows.
