Flow Traders - Compliance Officer
Requirements
• 5–8+ years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance within a financial markets environment. • University degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. • Strong and demonstrable knowledge of the European regulatory framework (Wft, MiFID II / MiFIR, EMIR, MAR, SSR, MiCAR DORA, etc.). • Proven experience in drafting and implementing compliance policies and procedures. • Experience interacting directly with regulators and managing regulatory inspections or audits. • Experience advising business stakeholders in a global financial or exchange-trading environment. • Strong understanding of financial instruments and financial markets. • Experience performing regulatory impact assessments and compliance risk analysis. • Strong interest in and affinity with Digital Assets • High level of integrity, independence, and professional judgment. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Analyzing existing and upcoming regulations and translating regulatory • into clear practical business and control measures • Leading the implementation of regulatory changes ensuring alignment with trading strategies and operational processes • Acting as the primary senior compliance advisor to the Trading department on complex regulatory matters • Owning maintaining and enhancing the regulatory compliance framework with focus on trading-related regulations • Drafting reviewing and maintaining compliance policies procedures and internal controls • Providing independent challenge and second-line oversight to business initiatives • Leading regulatory-driven projects and strategic initiatives with specialization in digital asset compliance (MiCAR and MiFID II intersection) supporting crypto and tokenized securities trading • Engaging directly with regulators exchanges and stakeholders including managing inquiries inspections and audits • Conducting regulatory risk assessments monitoring compliance developing training and supporting senior management • 5 8+ years of relevant • in regulatory compliance within financial markets • University degree in Law Business Administration Finance or related field • Strong knowledge of European regulatory framework (Wft MiFID II/MiFIR EMIR MAR SSR MiCAR DORA etc.) • drafting and implementing compliance policies and procedures • interacting with regulators and managing inspections or audits • advising business stakeholders in global financial or trading environments • Strong understanding of financial instruments and markets • Strong interest in and affinity with Digital Assets • High integrity independence professional judgment and excellent communication • Flow Academy ongoing training and domain conferences • Daily catered lunch great coffee fully stocked kitchen and snack bar • In-house Bar Lounge with games arcade table tennis billiards • Company boat in-house gym trainer sessions and bi-weekly massages • Annual company trip variety of events and global office rotations
