At least 2 years of full time professional, non-internship experience in full-stack engineering.
Experience with backend development using Python and/or Go.
Strong code quality habits including testing, reviews, documentation.
Product mindset is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred: Experience in FinTech, Risk Management, or Compliance (not required).
Preferred: Experience with LLM/AI-powered products and event-driven systems.
Security, privacy, and auditing best practices are preferred but not mandatory.
Bonus points for being an ex-founder of a tech company or startup (not required).
Responsibilities
Developing full stack applications using a variety of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby on Rails, etc.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize user stories/features based on business needs.
Writing clean code that follows best practices for maintainability and scalability.
Testing applications using unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end testing frameworks like Selenium or Cypress.
Debugging issues in the application to ensure smooth performance across different environments (development, staging, production).
Deploying code changes through CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
Monitoring and optimizing applications using cloud services like AWS CloudWatch or New Relic for better user experience.
Documenting the application architecture, design patterns used, APIs exposed, and database schema to facilitate onboarding of new team members.
