Requirements

• A degree in a technical discipline with a focus on statistics, machine learning, or computer science • Experience working within proprietary trading environments, specifically equities product experience • Demonstrated ability to generate and deploy alpha in equities markets • Strong programming skills in Python • Strong problem-solving and statistics skills • The ability to proactively take the lead on assignments and deliver practical research results in a timely manner

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and implement systematic trading strategies across equities • Generate and validate alpha signals using large, complex datasets • Create predictive models utilizing financial data through statistical analysis methods • Work closely with trading and engineering teams to deploy and optimize strategies in production • Continuously refine models based on market behavior and performance feedback • Explore new datasets, features, and methodologies to improve signal quality • Create robust solutions to problems presented in the trading environment • Develop research strategies into production software
