Requirements
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and web-based research. • Knowledge of all state/federal initial and renewal licensing requirements and processes for all clinical positions. • Two years’ experience with physician group (NCQA) and/or hospital credentialing (JCAHO). • Knowledge of certification requirements, regulations, company credentialing policy & procedures, and state and federal regulations. • Perform all required primary source verifications per NCQA guidelines. • Ability to investigate and analyze information.
Responsibilities
• Consult clinicians to obtain current credentialing information and/or supporting documents to ensure data is current and accurate prior to licensing application submission to avoid processing delays. • Prioritize assigned tasks and submit applications within metric benchmarks. • Effectively communicate application guidance, instructions and status updates to Team Lead, clinicians, and licensing personnel. • Proactively identify and escalate processing roadblocks that may jeopardize the clinician’s start date. • Execute system data-entry updates to track tasks and licensing status for reporting purposes.
