Requirements
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in Data Science, with at least 1–2 years in a formal or informal leadership role (e.g., Lead Data Scientist or People Manager). • Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis. • Technical Mastery: • Tech Stack: Expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. • Python • Scikit-Learn • TensorFlow • PyTorch • Cloud & Data: Experience working with large-scale datasets and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). • Cloud & Data: • Industry Knowledge: Experience in B2B, marketplace, travel, or e-commerce industries is highly preferred. • Industry Knowledge: • Communication: Proven ability to "bridge the gap" between technical execution and business value. • Communication: • Education: Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a quantitative field (CS, Stats, Math, Physics) is a plus. • Education: • Applications for this role will be accepted through 07/01/2026 or until the role is filled. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE). Responsibilities
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Data Scientists, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional development. • Team Leadership: • Execution & Delivery: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of ML models—from data exploration and prototyping to deployment and monitoring. • Execution & Delivery: • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to translate complex business problems into actionable data science projects. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Technical Excellence: Maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, and model validation; conduct rigorous peer reviews. • Technical Excellence: • Experimentation: Lead the design and analysis of A/B tests and experimentation frameworks to measure the impact of new features. • Experimentation: • Scalability: Work with Data Engineering to ensure our data pipelines and infrastructure support high-velocity model iteration. • Scalability: • Insights to Action: Commmunicate technical results to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring data insights drive day-to-day business decisions. • Insights to Action:
