Aspora - Backend Engineer
Requirements
• 3–6 years in backend development, ideally at a product-led startup or fintech where you built for scale, not just maintained it. • Deep experience with RESTful APIs and microservices: you've designed them, not just consumed them • Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Python, or Go; the language matters less than the depth of your systems thinking • High ownership. You treat a production incident as your problem until it is resolved. • Comfortable with ambiguity. You build structure where there isn't any, and write the playbook others follow. • Bias for execution: you ship, learn, and iterate without waiting for perfect conditions • Strong advantages: experience in payments infrastructure, regulated fintech, or high-throughput distributed systems. Not required.
