Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Ops, or HR Generalist roles. Experience in a small to mid-sized technology company is a plus • Strong experience with BambooHR and Paylocity (highly preferred) • Familiarity with tools like Greenhouse, Jira, and Google Workspaces (highly preferred) • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and exercise sound judgment • Location • United States (remote; Eastern or Central time zones preferred) • The annual base salary range for this position based in the United States is listed below. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on Neo4j’s compensation practices, job related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and trainings, in addition to geographic location. Based on the factors above, Neo4j utilizes the full width of the range. • In addition to the range below, US employees are eligible for a stock option grant and certain roles are eligible for an annual bonus. Employees in this position are also eligible to participate in the Company’s standard benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k), paid time off, and certain leaves of absence.
Responsibilities
• Own and execute core HR operations processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, job changes, data management, etc.) • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data across systems, including BambooHR and Paylocity, and own dashboard maintenance • Ensure HR processes are followed consistently, with a focus on accuracy and reliability • Manage HR reporting, identifying and resolving data discrepancies through regular audits while supporting ongoing compliance efforts • Manage operational aspects of immigration, data reporting, and compliance processes, including coordination with employees, internal stakeholders, and external counsel • Partner cross-functionally with teams such as Recruiting, Finance, legal, and IT to support day-to-day people operations • Own and execute people-related projects, ensuring strong execution and timely delivery • Collaborate with internal systems stakeholders to improve workflows and data quality • Serve as a reliable and approachable resource for employees and managers, handling HR-related questions with sound judgment and professionalism • Operate with a high degree of autonomy while keeping stakeholders informed and aligned • Take ownership of day-to-day operational responsibilities, ensuring consistency, attention to detail, and follow-through • Contribute to overall team effectiveness by supporting shared priorities and collaborating closely with team members and cross-functionally
