Odaseva - Senior Backend Developer
Requirements
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant field, • 7+ years of experience as a backend Developer in a professional environment, with a significant focus on PHP/Go/NodeJS/Python. • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects and demonstrating measurable impact on product performance or stability. • Deep expertise in non-framework development and object-oriented programming principles. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), containerization (e.g., Docker) and Salesforce is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues efficiently. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow. • Eagerness to work in an international and multicultural environment. • Full professional proficiency in both French and English. • Where you'll be • Based in Paris (75002), France. • Hybrid: 3 days in the office / 2 days remote work.
Responsibilities
• Core Development: Design, develop, and maintain highly performant, scalable, and secure applications for our core backend engines (written in PHP, Go, NodeJS, and Python). • Product Collaboration: Collaborate directly with Product Managers to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver solutions that align with product goals. • Infrastructure & Ops: Work closely with the Infrastructure team to optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless deployment and operation. • Code Quality: Lead by example in writing clean, well-documented, and testable code. • Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards and ensure adherence to team best practices. • Environment Monitoring: Monitor environments to identify application bugs, troubleshoot stability issues, and uncover areas for performance optimization. • System Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for system optimization, refactoring, and technical debt reduction. • Innovation & Excellence: Stay current with emerging trends and technologies, recommending and implementing relevant advancements to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
