Responsibilities

Lead Data Scientist for the Pricing team in ODS Engineering – Data Science - Allocation & Pricing division.
Develop and implement data science strategies to improve pricing models within the company's products/services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, marketing, sales, finance, customer service, legal, HR, IT security, compliance, operations, procurement and supply chain functions as needed to ensure alignment of data science initiatives across the organization.
Analyze pricing trends using historical company performance metrics such as revenue growth rate (YoY), gross margin percentage by product category/service line over time, customer acquisition cost per channel, average order value and other relevant KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement in our current approach or new approaches that could be tested.
Develop pricing models using data science techniques such as machine learning algorithms, predictive analytics, optimization methods (e.g., linear programming), simulation modeling etc. based on the analysis of historical company performance metrics and external market factors to improve accuracy and efficiency in setting prices for our products/services while ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
Monitor key pricing KPIs such as revenue growth rate (YoY) by product category, gross margin percentage per channel etc., on a regular basis using dashboards or reports generated from data science models to assess the effectiveness of current pricing strategies and identify areas for improvement in real time.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed to gather relevant market intelligence (e.g., competitor prices, customer feedback) that can inform our decision making around setting optimal prices for different products/services under various scenarios such as changes in demand elasticity or cost structure due to external factors like economic downturns, supply chain disru03
