Requirements
• 4+ years of software engineering experience, ideally within ML infrastructure, data engineering, or model operations. • Hands-on experience with model serving, distributed systems, or production ML workflows. • Familiarity with modern ML infrastructure tools (e.g., Ray, Kubeflow, SageMaker, TensorFlow Serving, Triton). • Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or similar languages, and experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. • Hands-on experience with large-scale search systems, including embedding models, vector databases, and distributed retrieval engines, using platforms like Qdrant, ChromaDB, Elasticsearch etc. with dense vector search capabilities. • A collaborative mindset with an interest in building reliable platforms that support company-wide impact.
Responsibilities
• Review customer onboarding requests prepared by the First Line of Defense and document compliance decisions clearly and accurately. • Conduct enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews on high-risk customers and transactions in line with AML/CFT requirements. • Analyze customer profiles and transaction activity to identify potential financial crime risks and recommend appropriate actions. • Support internal and external audits, including preparing documentation and responding to requests from regulators. • Work with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Operations teams to improve processes and strengthen controls. • Stay informed on regulatory developments and contribute to updates in policies and procedures. • Support the Deputy MLRO and CCO on compliance-related initiatives and projects.

The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones.
