Requirements
• Strong technical background in backend/frontend/mobile engineering with experience leading teams within these domains. • Experience managing and cultivating high-performance cultures among engineers of diverse skill sets. • Familiarity with modern technologies, scalable cloud infrastructure, AI/ML best practices, and software design principles is required for technical direction and architecture decisions. • Ability to provide effective guidance across the entire stack (backend services, machine learning models, mobile/web components) ensuring robustness and scalability of solutions. • Experience in agile environments with a focus on cross-functional collaboration between engineering teams and other departments such as Product Management, Data Science/Machine Learning, Infrastructure, Security is necessary for partnering closely to conceptualize and deliver new features and improvements. • Skill set includes strong communication abilities to facilitate effective alignment between the DocV engineering team and stakeholders across different company functions. • Experience in defining product roadmaps that align with business goals and driving their execution, ensuring delivery of key results on schedule while meeting product objectives and business KPIs is required for this role. • Strong mentorship skills to coach junior and senior engineers providing regular feedback and professional development opportunities within a culture focused on continuous learning and growth.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a team of 7–10 engineers in backend, frontend, and mobile roles to cultivate a collaborative, high-performance culture. Ensure clear accountability and growth for each team member. (Team Leadership) • Drive the technical strategy and architectural decisions for the DocV product using modern technologies, scalable cloud infrastructure, AI/ML best practices in software design. Provide guidance across backend services, machine learning models, client-side mobile/web components to ensure robustness and scalability (Technical Direction & Architecture) • Partner closely with cross-functional teams – including Product Management, Data Science/Machine Learning, Infrastructure, Security, other engineering groups - in an agile environment. Facilitate effective communication and alignment between the DocV engineering team and stakeholders across the company (Cross-Functional Collaboration) • Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to define a Document Verification roadmap that aligns with business goals, drive its execution ensuring key results are delivered on schedule. Ensure team efforts meet product objectives and business KPIs (Product Roadmap & Execution) • Mentor junior and senior engineers providing regular feedback and professional development opportunities to foster a culture of continuous learning within the engineering group (Mentorship and Talent Development)
