Remote Senior APAC Backend Engineer Senior Backend Developer PostgreSQL Back-end Go

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-throughput, fault-tolerant microservices in Go that power our backend. • Design technical solutions to meet our customer needs. • Shape data models and optimise queries for our PostgreSQL databases. • Champion code quality through code reviews, testing, and refactoring. • Work closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver solutions our customers love. • Keep an eye on emerging tech and best practices, and bring good ideas back to the team. • Champion AI tooling and automation to improve quality and remove bottlenecks. • You're eager to learn, happy to share what you know, and open-minded when facing challenges. • You enjoy software engineering, especially back-end development. • You have good experience building production-grade microservices. • You embrace change and help bring your team along positively. • You care as much about the product and the user as you do the code. • You're curious about using AI to work smarter. • You strive to uphold the mx51 values.
