Responsibilities
• Deliver recyclable materials to designated locations within Oakland, CA as per the company's delivery routes and schedules. • Ensure that all items are properly sorted according to material type before loading them onto the vehicle for transportation. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in both personal vehicles used for deliveries and at job sites when applicable. • Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating delivery vehicles or equipment on public roads. • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding pickup/delivery statuses, route changes, vehicle issues, etc., using the provided communication tools (phone, radio). • Report any accidents, incidents, damages to property, or safety concerns immediately through proper channels as instructed by management. • Complete required paperwork and documentation for each delivery trip accurately and promptly upon arrival at job sites.
