Requirements

When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary. • Ro recognizes the power of in-person collaboration, while supporting the flexibility to work anywhere in the United States. For our Ro’ers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites).
Responsibilities
• Provide clear, actionable advice on all aspects of the employee experience, including hiring, performance management, accommodations, investigations, and exits. • Manage employment disputes and agency inquiries, including investigations, pre-litigation response, and outside counsel and insurance broker management. • Advise on responsible, compliant use of AI tools in recruiting, performance management, and other employment contexts. • Support Ro’s workforce strategy, including worker classification, remote arrangements, and cross-border employment questions. • Anticipate and track changes in relevant laws and keep Ro ahead of them through practical updates and guidance. • Work closely with our Privacy and Security teams on matters related to employee data. • Work with the People team to maintain scalable policies, handbooks, templates, and training programs. • Partner with the People team and outside counsel on benefits and equity questions in support of Ro’s overall compensation structure. • Step in on non-employment disputes or commercial agreements as time and interest allow.
