Common Room - Senior Software Engineer, Backend
Requirements

For our current set of problems, we prefer to primarily use TypeScript with Node.js. We use TypeGraphQL for our API endpoints, Apollo/Express as our web server, and Postgres (hosted on RDS) + ClickHouse as our database. We use React for front-end, and AWS for our infrastructure needs. • Be Customer-centric - We work backwards from the needs of our customers. Responsibilities
• Learn about Common Room's product, business, and technology quickly. • Independently own and execute features with a focus on building APIs for customer problem solving in the backend domain. • Ensure systems are efficient, scalable, and reliable as part of Core Internal Capabilities infrastructure maintenance. • Stay one step ahead by identifying needs to serve customers better through system improvements or innovations. • Participate in company-building initiatives important for a fast-growing startup like Common Room.
