Requirements
• Degree in Infocomm Security, Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent • Strong interest and passion for the field of Infocomm Security • Strong background in programming • Strong background in C/C++ is an added advantage • Senior and entry-level positions available • Applicants must be Singapore Citizens • As CSIT is an agency under the Ministry of Defence (Singapore), only Singapore Citizens will be considered.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain secure software systems to protect against cyber threats. • Design and implement security protocols for information technology infrastructure. • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on existing IT systems. • Analyze system logs, network traffic, and other data sources to identify potential security breaches or anomalies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of cybersecurity strategies across the organization. • Stay updated with emerging threats and trends in information technology by attending industry conferences, workshops, and training sessions. • Provide guidance on best practices for securing IT systems within their respective departments or teams. • Participate in incident response exercises to improve the organization's ability to handle potential security incidents effectively. • Document findings from vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, as well as recommendations for remediation actions.
