Responsibilities
• Initial Platform Engineering: Architect and deploy the initial Cameyo by Google infrastructure to deliver Windows applications as secure web apps, optimizing for browser-based productivity, Progressive Web App (PWA) integration, and seamless SSO. • Initial Platform Engineering: • Workstation Environment Design: Provision, configure, and stand up Google Cloud Workstations. Work closely with software engineering teams to define baseline images, package containerized IDEs, and establish secure dev environments. • Workstation Environment Design: • Infrastructure Strategy & ROI: Design the underlying Google Cloud Platform (GCP) compute architecture to balance performance with cost-efficiency—establishing auto-scaling policies, custom container lifecycles, and "power-on-demand" features from day one. • Infrastructure Strategy & ROI: • Security & Zero Trust Foundation: Implement Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles for remote access.
