Requirements

Full Stack Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in hands-on work across both frontend and backend systems, preferably in a SaaS environment.
AI Tooling Knowledge: We are transforming the way we build software by experimentation and adoption of AI tools to support our goals of velocity and quality.
Python Proficiency: Strong experience building and maintaining applications using Python and a major web framework (we use Django).
React: Experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript, including component-based architecture and state management.
Agile & Collaborative: Experience working with agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD principles. You thrive in a team environment.
Empathetic & Accountable: You act with compassion, believe that your team’s success is your success, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Maintains a professional and current LinkedIn profile, ensuring it is updated upon joining Procurify to reflect their new role and maintain a consistent company presence.

Base Salary Range: $103,000- $129,000 CAD (This range is dependent on experience and not inclusive of any bonus, commission, benefits or equity that might exist in your total compensation package.)

Responsibilities

Build & Ship End-to-End Features using Python/Django for backend services and TypeScript/React for frontend components.
Develop Scalable Backend Services that handle business logic, data storage, integrations with performance, reliability, and scalability in mind.
Create High-Quality Frontend Experiences by implementing reusable, accessible, and performant UI components using React.
Design & Optimize Database Schemas to contribute effectively to the design of our database models and write efficient queries ensuring data performance and integrity.
Champion Code Quality across all projects contributing clean, testable, maintainable code that is easy for others on the team to understand and extend during code reviews.
Strengthen System Architecture by collaborating with your team on technical designs following appropriate patterns while improving backend system implementation and architecture.
Ensure System Reliability through active participation in investigating defects, performance bottlenecks, or any issues affecting the quality and stability of our monolithic application platform.
