Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields. • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Computer Vision and/or NLP with a proven track record, ideally with some exposure to search, recommendation, or catalog/content moderation applications. • Proficient in Python and SQL for data analysis and model building. • Expertise in deep learning toolkits • Strong theoretical foundation in Computer Vision and Machine Learning, with a deep understanding of core concepts, algorithms, and principles in the domain. • Specialization in Computer Vision: Deep expertise in image similarity, object detection, and segmentation. • NLP Knowledge: Strong theoretical foundation in Natural Language Processing (NLP) with hands-on experience applying NLP techniques to complement multimodal approaches. • Production-Scale Experience: Familiarity with large-scale, production-level machine learning pipelines for image processing and multimodal applications. • Multimodal Model Knowledge: Familiarity with multimodal approaches (e.g., vision-language models) is highly desirable. • Research Acumen: Ability to track, analyze, and implement the latest trends and research in Computer Vision and/or NLP. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. • Research and development skills on deep learning products for mobile commerce and ad-tech • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Experience with mobile commerce or self-service business models is a big plus
