Responsibilities
• Lead technical discovery with prospects to understand their security needs, compliance requirements, cloud infrastructure, and development workflows. • Partner closely with Account Executives in developing deal strategy, identifying technical champions within the customer organization, and guiding them through evaluation, proof-of-value, and purchase decisions. • Deliver tailored product demonstrations that align to specific customer use cases and success criteria. • Act as the primary technical advisor during the prospect's evaluation process by addressing their objections related to technology choices, competitive comparisons, and how well our solution fits into their environment. • Develop deep expertise in Vanta product capabilities, integrations with cloud providers, identity systems, version control platforms, security tooling, as well as understanding the partner ecosystem and competition landscape. • Design technical solutions that integrate seamlessly with customers' existing infrastructure to ensure a clean handoff post-sale for Customer Success and Implementation teams. • Support revenue growth by providing timely responses to inbound technical questions from Sales representatives and prospects, helping them qualify opportunities early on through the identification of technical fit, risks, and dependencies. • Participate actively in account planning meetings, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and discussions about expanding customer accounts by demonstrating how Vanta can impact their revenue positively.
