Vercel - IT Ops Engineer

• Serve as the first point of contact for our in-office staff for all IT-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation of all systems. • Support our global workforce with IT-related issues in an effective and collaborative manner. • Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of the office's IT infrastructure, including workstations, conference rooms, network devices, and software applications. • Pair with the other members of the IT team on various projects, from upgrading system infrastructure to implementing new technology solutions. Contribute to planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to enhance our IT capabilities. • Utilize IT ticketing systems to manage help-desk requests and tickets as needed. • Help with the creation, management, and support of user accounts and access controls. Ensure employees have the necessary resources and permissions to perform their jobs effectively. • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems and procedures. • Work closely with other departments to support their technical needs and ensure IT alignment with business goals. Participate in cross-functional projects to support company-wide initiatives. • Partner with our Onboarding team to help procure equipment, set up accounts, and ensure a positive experience for new employees. • Assist the Workplace Service team to ensure we maintain a world-class office environment. • You have at least 2+ years of full-time experience in IT support or a related field, with a solid foundation in troubleshooting hardware, software, A/V and network issues. • Experience in a startup or tech environment. • Tech-Savvy Problem Solver: You possess a deep understanding of IT systems, including macOS environments, networking, and security.
