Requirements
• Type: Full-time (1099/Contractor), Remote • 5+ years of professional Android development experience. • Strong expertise in Kotlin. • Experience building and shipping Android applications at scale. • Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern Android architecture patterns. • Experience with REST APIs and mobile networking. • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and clean architecture. • Experience with testing frameworks and CI/CD workflows. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team. • Experience building consumer-facing mobile products. • Familiarity with GraphQL. • Exposure to mobile security best practices. • Startup or high-growth company experience.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain native Android applications using modern development practices. • Design and implement scalable, maintainable mobile architectures. • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver new features. • Optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices. • Help define technical direction and improve development processes. • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. • Ensure high standards of code quality, testing, and maintainability.
