Upsun (via Remote Woman) - Product Manager

• Product management experience: Proven experience in product management owning a distinct product area, ideally focused on developer platforms, PaaS, or cloud infrastructure. • Technical depth: Understanding of building, deploying, and running applications in the cloud, with the ability to collaborate closely with infrastructure engineers on multi-tenant architectures or distributed systems. • Technical depth: • Software development background: Familiarity with building software using languages such as Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PHP, Go, or Rust. • Software development background: • CI/CD, containers & APIs: Hands-on experience or close collaboration with CI/CD workflows, Docker/OCI container technologies, and a clear vision for intuitive API design. • CI/CD, containers & APIs: • AI fluency: Daily use of modern AI tools to research, draft, and prototype workflows, paired with a realistic understanding of where current tools and models fall short. • AI fluency: • Agentic development: A strong perspective on autonomous agent architecture and how agentic workflows are transforming modern software engineering. • Agentic development: • Navigating ambiguity: Comfort with turning unstructured problem spaces into clear strategies and taking thoughtful action even with incomplete information. • Navigating ambiguity: • Collaborative communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of listening, building consensus, and uniting teams around a shared vision. • Collaborative communication: • Data-informed decision making: Ability to seek out and evaluate data to guide decisions and track success. • Data-informed decision making: • Enthusiasm for using and testing the platform capabilities you help build. • Experience using Kubernetes, or building self-service platforms on Kubernetes • Where we hire • Where we hire • At Upsun, remote work isn't just a trend - it's our foundation.
